Excellent spin off from the Tomb Raider series.A heavier emphasis on combat means this is much more of an action game than normal TR games but there are plenty of puzzles dotted through the levels to stop it becoming repetitive.Hopefully it'll sell well and they'll make more of these type of games

Depends.You could blast through it fairly quick(most of the levels have a challenge to beat them in a certain time)but I took my time so about 5-6 hours maybe on normal difficulty.It's definitely a game I'll play through again though.Also I only played single player so I still have co-op to play through.

Dragon Age:Origins - Awakening - 8/10

Ok this is an expansion rather than a stand alone game but at nearly 15hrs of gameplay it's as long as a lot of stand alone games(and longer than some).Good main plot,plenty of side quests,new characters and the ability to import your save from Origins make this a worthwhile purchase if you enjoyed Origins.Only thing I was slightly disappointed with was

Hedgewars (PC) - 9/10

Great Worms clone if you are bored. Instead of worms you have hedgehogs and some weapons are different but same action.

If you create a account online, for some reason it will not work, so use your computer's PC name.

Ok only got back into gaming the last few days bit late as summer is nearly over and wont have much time to play when i go back to college. Bit any way decided to finnish a couple of games i have for a long time and started but never finnished.

Modern Warfare 2:8/10 Good story small bit confusing at times.

Bought Bioshock 2 Special Edition for 30 euro absolelute steal!

Bioshock 2 8/10Gameplay is improved but the story is better in the first and it doesn't give you that WOW moment when you first enter Rapture.

Transformers:WFC 7/10It's good for a transformers game but the transforming into cars and shizz is useless as the maps are too small etc. Haven't played much of the online but it's meh.

Halo 3 ODST:9/10 Brilliant game. i take back what i said about finding health packs and weapons as the game went on it was easier to find them.(I dont know was it because i knew where to look for them or if there was more left about)

Also as with all the Halo games the story finnished with u thinking is there another 1 coming out as they never end the story(I know reach is coming out but i thought ODST was different).

great game, nice and long. It grew on me. i dont usually have the kind of time to put into long games these days so its hard t pick it up and just play.

There was quite alot to do and for my thats great but having tooo many options at once sometimes feels a bit too much, early on i could never decide what took priority.

The character animations were still rigid and dodgey like in oblivion and the lighting can be a bit tempermental at times, but the music humour gameplay and story make up for that. V.A.T.S is very fun and there were some quirky perks. I liked the leveling system.

Its a refreshing change to play an american rpg

i would prefer to have some dlc so th game gets harder as once i reached level twenty i pretty much slaughtered my way through the game...

im glad its finished as i think it was slowly killing me.

now then... to return to oblivion or not to.... that is the question

Borderlands: Zombie Island of Dr. Ned 8/10

I felt it was a good size DLC. Now I only paided 400msp for it but I would have been happy if I paid 800 for it.

The map size is big for a dlc. Mission are what you expect from borderlands. Also loved the camio of one borderland character.

Super Mario Galaxy - 9.5/10

Finally got the 120 stars today after nearly 3 years. Was stuck trying to get the Luigi's Purple Coins star as the second last star, and the misery and frustration that that star alone cost me knocks off the 0.5 from the score

Now I have finally been able to move onto SMG2

Yeah it has it's flaws and it could have been a bit more polished but overall I enjoyed it.It's nowhere near as bad as it's being made out to be by some people

Now I had to play this games for so many hours (20 hours or so) and I have to say it is the best fighting game I have played to date.

Pros
- Graphics
- Like SF4. Easy to play, hard to master.
- Character development.
- Barely any lag online ( I would get 1 laggy match every 30 matches)
- Story (Both Good and Funny)

Cons
- 2 Cheap characters.
- Alot of the achievements are stupid.

If you like fighting games get this game if you see it or get the up to date version that is going to be released.

Indiana Jones and The Staff of Kings - 5.5/10

Pretty average.A poor mans Tomb Raider tbh which is odd seeing as Lara Croft is nothing more than an Indy wannabe.Still it was dirt cheap and it did have Fate of Atlantis as an unlockable bonus mode.Which leads me nicely onto..

Excellent sequel.The only things that stopped it getting a perfect score were the annoyingly small text and the planet scanning(seriously Bioware who honestly thought tat would be fun).Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed it.Roll on part 3

Medal of Honor - 7.5/10

Pretty good.Single player is fun and more realistic than MW but it's also just as short,if not shorter(bout 5 hrs in total).Multi player is very similar in looks and feel to Bad Company 2.BC2 lite you could describe it as.It's also a bit of a snipe-fest like BC2.Anyway it's fairly good although it does have a matchmaking issue that needs to be sorted quickly and it could have done with a few more maps(there's only a handful of maps for each mode so you'll end up playing the same maps over and over).Worth a rental but don't think I'd buy it

You can now choose to move Maxwell with the D-PAD/ABYX or the Stylus...If you select one of them, you use the other for the camera.

eg. You select D-PAD/ABYX for movement and you use the Stylus for camera!

I felt exactly the same way. They should have bumped up the gold needed to astronomical amounts to make you at least consider the sacrifice for the greater good etc.

Dont get me wrong, I really enjoyed the game, still enjoying in fact- going for 1000g - but if alls you need to pull of a coo is a handful of allies I would have taken dail eireann by now. lol. They should have had you going for alot more allies with the game making you decide between 2 factions/parties etc to get favour.
I felt the choices you needed to make were too obvious as to which was the good or bad. FFS, even in real life good intentions can backfire or affect other people in different ways.
I played a female character and I didn't like the way you couldn't seduce straight women, the only bisexual people in the game were the prostitutes, 1 of each gender. At least fable2 had loads of them. Bring back the expression wheel.
