Just to let anyone know Borderlands is on sale for €10.19 and the DLC are also on sale for €2.71 each.

Was just coming on here to post about that Borderlands deal. Think I might pick it up, have meant to since it came out, and at this price it's hard to turn down.
Did anyone pick up the DLC for Borderlands, just wondering is that also worth picking up?

I have them for the xbox.

Well the armoury is the best and is even worth it at €10.

Zombie Island is very good at that value.

But the Underdome is the one everyone hates. I bought it but I haven't got a chance to play it yet.

Ended up buying Borderlands and all the DLC, then installed Windows 7 with Boot Camp on my MBP and I'm now just waiting for Borderlands to download. Maybe this will be one of the few games I buy in a Steam sale and actually end up playing

let me know how it runs. MMM did you play that free top down valve shooter they released recently and did you have any issues playing it on your mac in either bootcamp or mac, just curious it and left4dead 2 gave me trouble.. would love to hear from another mac user

Just after buying both left of dead 1 & 2 on steam thanks to yggys post.

All I have left in my 3v card is €4. Suggest something good on steam for me to get.

Tempted to pre-order "Poker Night at the Inventory" just for the fun of it.

Bought L4D2 this morning. Funnily enough had a conversation only a few days ago about how I didn't have and wouldn't be getting L4D2, hadn't thought of Steam sales, silly me
Anyway, about 1.25GB into a 11.2GB download. Really wish college didn't block Steam on their super-fast connection...

Well Kaspersky suck since it thinks my scenefilecache.dll file for L4D2 is a Trojan and I'm not the only one experiencing it.

It crashes after the opening cutscene.

Played The Sacrifice on L4D2 with yggy and it was Good. Only 3 levels but they were good.

I am tempted to get the Deux Ex Collection for a fiver but I'll have to wait till tomorrow to get it.

They are also doing a sale on gift packs like 10 copies of half life 2 for €20.

Nobody buy Hydrophobia. It's pretty crap. Got it cheap in the steam sale. Just finished it now. Totally rubbish ending and pretty boring game in general. Wasn't worth wasting the bandwidth to download it.

Hydrophobia was out on xbox live several months ago and got pretty bad reviews, 3/10 etc

They reckoned it was more like an extended tech demo, showing off the water engine.

I think it is supposed to be episode 1 in a series and if its true, hopefully, they will correct the issues
