Re: So, how are you?
long time no see wiffy. been very busy lately.
to summarise it all up I got expelled , nearly 2 weeks ago for punching someone who had been harassing me with dirty sexual comments.
The principal clicked his fingers and poof i was gone.
The matter is very serious and in the upcoming weeks the media
will be publishing the story. All is good though

Re: So, how are you?
Most schools don't usually throw expulsion at you unless you've been suspended a few times, or at the very least get in trouble a lot tbh. Unless you did some serious damage.

Jesus those hackers are really going for it today.Minecraft,EVE Online and The Escapist have all been hit in the last couple of hours. That's on top of attacks on Nintendo,Epic and Bethesda recently
Edit:Add League of Legends to that list as well

@Korgis That doesn't sound like the whole story to me.There's surely more to it than that

Totally gonna read that..
What actually happened?
I've barely had time to use the internet the last few months. It's ridiculous.

I so have to read this story when it comes out. Also I can't really believe that you got expelled just for that. Suspended yes, expulsion no.

The site feels a little tumble weedy lately.
Maybe we should have an active recruitment drive and try and get some people from the old site back.

Sorry to hear Dooley.

So I have been busy working with a friend who has setup his TF2 server (He had it before in 2008 for about 2 years until his hosting company decided to shut down). We have been getting a site up, with plugins, stats etc.
In terms of activity on our TF2 server, I got notification about 2 hrs ago that we have been constantly full for nearly 30hrs! Last we checked, we were something like 81st in all the TF2 servers that are out there, so we are gaining popularity.
Our plan for the next year is, to get a 2nd server up (Probably in Texas) and then co-locating a actual rack server job and having multiple TF2 servers up and a 60-player Minecraft server...All on the same box.
When we get enough of money through donations, we will basically do a copy of the American setup in Europe (We are either going for England or Germany (but the prices and availability is really low atm).
For me, I am just going to be administrating the website and make sure everything is running smoothly.
We got a new template and I edited it to make a decent looking site for now, but we will making changes in the future. If anyone would like to try it out, go to http://motelcali.info and if you are playing TF2, search for "Motel California TF2", we mainly play Control Point and Payload, but we are planning to have more maps and more game modes by Christmas!

Leaving Tokyo in a week (well just under), and I'm not sure I've got the money to cancel my phone contract, eat, and get to the airport... All of which are pretty essential.

Finally got that leg frame off last thursday. I had been wearing it since 10th march. Leg feels weird and weak. Knee wont bend now. I'm looking at alot of physio.
Just about to remove all bandages and have a shower...Mmm
On another note: Comic jumper has to be the most fustrating XBLA game i have ever played. However i am determined to finish it. FuK Nanoc

Good luck with the physio Law.I remember it took me about 2 months of intense physio before my leg was back to some semblance of normality after my knee surgery.Probably about 6 months before I was fully comfortable with it again
As for Comic Jumper yeah it can be pretty frustrating. It seems like they concentrated more on the humour than the gameplay. And if you think Nanoc is bad wait till you get to the manga levels

Back to work full time yesterday and its as if they left 6 months work waiting for me. Its my own fault for getting back driving.
Playing Dead Space 2 on hard core - no checkpoints and your only allowed save 3 times - bring on dark souls

Only on easy!
I always play games on Normal never any harder as i don't think i would be able for it.
GRAW and GRAW 2 is playable on normal the trick is to get used to commanding your team. You make them do all the work while u spend ur time commanding them and then pop off the remaining enemies urself.

I know.I've beaten GRAW 1 on normal.Found it kinda annoying tbh due to cheap deaths and annoying A.I(friendly and enemy).Oh and letting your team do all the work only works when you have a team. There were/are several solo missions in GRAW 1 & 2.Anyway I figured I'd start 2 on easy. That way if I decide to play through again on a higher level I'll know what to expect
Why does playing on easy have such a stigma attached to it?At the end of the day I play games to have fun and sometimes it's fun to play on the easiest difficulty

I understand what you mean, but i didn't mean anything bad that u were playing on easy i thought i would just ask why only on easy, as you play alot of games i just thought you would play on normal or higher.

That's fair enough as I usually do play on normal difficulty or higher.I generally only play on easy if I just want to mess around or if I'm going after achievements. As I said though I found GRAW 1's normal difficulty to be fairly annoying so I figured I'd play 2 on easy first to get used to the game so I'll have a better idea of what to expect if I decide to play through again on a higher difficulty

Yea i suppose it's a small bit annoying playing GRAW and GRAW 2. because if i remeber correctly(It's a long time since i played them) it only takes 2 or 3 bullet hits for you to die.

Sometimes not even that.I got one-shotted more times than I care to remember in GRAW 1
