I'm down to these two:
Samsung Galaxy Mini
OR
Blackberry 8520 Curve
I dont know what you use atm but it will come down to whcih OS you want, android or blackberry.
Personally i would go with android but not with the mini. Google "samsung galaxy ACE"(€30 payg on O2, i think) as i found that was the best bang for your buck and if your buying check out all the phones on adverts, there are some bargains to be had, especially coming up to christmas.

Yes Android is the best especially when you root it and install a custom ROM. My past two phones were high end Androids first the Motorola Atrix 4G and now Samsung Galaxy SII. Both have 1GB or RAM and also Dual core processors.

If you think that with Android then iphone would be no better for you, as you can do so much customisation with Android. Also which version of Android are you running and which phone as they can be major factors in if it is a good phone or shit one. Also which launcher are u using like Launcher Pro is brilliant.

Re: So, how are you?
The downside to android is hardware related. my bro had a vodafone android running froyo 2.2 and due to the handsets screen size and allround crapness, he hated android.
He then got the samsung galaxy ace (which also runs 2.2 atm, but can be upgraded to 2.3 gingerbread) and he thinks its the best phone he ever had and he has used iphones.
Be wary with service providers "special" offerings, they are usually crap.
I use a Windows phone 7 - LG optimus. Brilliant phone. Big software update for it soon aswell.
Adverts have windows phones for aprox 150 now, new and used.

I'm pretty strapped for cash, not even sure I can afford it for any more (not for a while anyway), but those are the only smartphones I can afford... Otherwise I'd be getting something fancy!

Yes it is quiet around here lately. People just aint posting and our most frequent poster doesnt post as much lately since he became an admin on the Team Fortress server.
Also did anybody watch the igenius programme on discovery channel tonight dedicated to Steve Jobs. It was ok nearly make you want to go out and buy something apple. To be honest i never owned or bought anything apple i have a top of the range Android so i dont need iphone. Always used my phone as an ipod so never needed one of them and always had a pc instead or Mac as i find their too expensive.

Re: So, how are you?
Final year of college has me swamped with work.
I don't even have time to play the games I've gotten a loan of... I'll probably end up giving them back without beating any of them.

Re: So, how are you?
I've got a project to do soon that counts for a whole module, gonna analyse the translation of Mother 2 to Earthbound, so at the very least I'll get to play that.
I can do a translation for my dissertation as well, gonna see if I can translate a GBA game (it might go over the word limit).

Sounds touch Crow. D:
I've got a load of work to catch up on, but this week is gonna be reading week! Gonna try use it to get ahead of work for once... Although I've got a Japanese test thing in a month that I'm way under-prepared for so that's not likely to happen. :/

Re: So, how are you?
Been playing BF3 multi until yesterday and then I forced myself to get MW3.
Got it for €43 in Tesco. When I went to game and seen that price at €55, I was like " " and walked out.
Tried to trade in Black Ops and MW2 and the 2 games are only worth €7. So, I kept them.
I thought that MW3 was going to be total shit, but it's not that bad. Some of the guns are alot better. I only wished they kept the CoDPoints system from Blops (That prevented me getting Second Chance (How I hated that)).
That is going to be the only games that I get for now. They should keep me going for a while.
This year has been a good year for video games!
Also, did anyone get the new dash on the 360. Opinions?
--
Other news, I was at my graduation last night (Thursday) and it was kinda boring as usual. Some GMIT person was taking for about half a hour and I was near falling asleep lol.
I didn't stick around for any group photos since only 4 from my class was at it. We all just went home afterwards lol.

My PS3 got the yellow light of death tonight while playing Skyrim. Had to use a hair-dryer method to get it out. Going to get a slim this week. Hopefully I can get the old one to work long enough to copy over the data.

Re: So, how are you?
I've been good.
Waiting to get Skyward Sword Friday.
I been playing Deus Ex: HR and it very good. My 3 main complains with the game is:
- The load times are horrible.
- The cover system is finicky
- Can't use Iron Sight in cover.

Can you not just take out the HDD and swap it with that of a new console?. Then transfer onto a usb key and swap the hdd back( I assume your new slim will have amuch bigger hdd than your old phat)

Nope. The hard drive has to format if it goes into a different PS3.

Think I'm gonna do my dissertation on Mother 3. As good an excuse as any to play it!

Fair play to Ireland tonight, but they should never have given away that goal. 1-1(AGG 5-1)

Yeah Shay Given normally has no trouble saving shots like that but to be fair the tie was well over by that stage. You could forgive them for letting the concentration drop a wee bit.Overall though a thoroughly professional performance over both legs.Well done to the boys and roll on the Euros
On a side note I love the way that last night was the first time Lansdowne Road has sold out for a footy international since it was rebuilt.Fucking gloryhunters

Yea it looked like an easy one to save alright but as u said id say he probably wasnt fully concentrated. Also Ireland could have made it 3 or 4-1 as Robbie Keane missed a good few chances in the first half.

Re: So, how are you?
wrote a thesis, a 2 minute animatic and am currently animating 20 seconds for tomorrow (20 seconds is one sixth of my film, it doesnt sound like much but its a lot) then im finished for christmas, i cant wait, i get to play games again, i know ygg was really disappointed but im still looking forward to uncharted 3, im picking it up on the way home on friday, even if the story is boring or crappy i loved the beta so look forward to the multiplayer. i've got battlefield 3 for crimbo and i hope to pick up rayman origins sometime soon, roll on tomorrow night.
