also. last weekend of the group project, i have been working 14 hour days and we are actually on track. despite the mammoth work thats gone in, its the biggest project any of us have ever taken, due to group input it doesn't read very well and wont make much sense, but on tuesday i shall post. hope you guys like. The sad part is that its due tuesday morning, but we start a new module monday and have an essay due thursday and like some other essay thing due the following monday.. i havent had a free weekend in months. so very, very tired. I now have to finish keying out another scene for someone to work on and edit the others work. (compiled the 60 page production book today.. 7353 word critical analysis) , just wanna fart this stuff out. im not complaining, quite chuffed with it all. just miss free time.

Supposed to be getting up in about 5 hours to get a 6:30 flight to Manchester since I'm going to see United vs Wigan in the afternoon. Will have about 7-8 hours to kill so might head to the Trafford Centre and see Harry Potter. Will be back in Dublin for about 8:30 and all, so it should be a good day. Will have to remember to buy a raffle ticket when I get to Old Trafford, bought one last year and won a grand, so would be nice for lightning to strike twice...

Had a good day in Manchester yesterday. Went to see the new Harry Potter (probably the best movie imo) in the morning, then headed to Old Trafford to see United vs Wigan. Wasn't the greatest match seeing as how United weren't great going forward in the first half and in the second half when Wigan went down to 9 men, the result was secured, so it took a bit of the excitement out of it. Still, it was good to get the result after Birmingham beat Chelsea and Spurs beat Arsenal.
Picked up Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood in HMV in the airport since it was tax free, so it worked out to be about €36. Got about an hours play in last night, seems good, just wish I had a bit more time to play it. Fairly busy atm trying to get a program done for one of my projects. Hoping to have it more or less done for a lab we have tomorrow so I can move onto some other things.

all my scenes are done. currently in post production. one member is working on the last scene then we put it together. im gonna upload it in a day. you guys will not know whats going on but i hope ye like it. I am so very very tired.. i want to just stop ha.. i played reach for 3 hours like 3 or 4 weeks ago and that has been all my gaming in the past 2 months.

I'm tired of looking at an almost endless stream of mis-guided political vitriol on my facebook page from clue-less friends. If they'd had a sustained interest in the world around them while they were busy making stupid money in supermarket jobs at the height of the Celtic Tiger then maybe they'd know what the hell is going on. Instead,they're clued in by Vincent Browne and the like,claiming they're going to 'rise up' in the wake of the Budget. My arse. Can't wait to see the outcome of this crap.

For the record,I'm not one bit happy with what's going on in the country and would love nothing more than a positive change or some back-bone being shown by the people. However,this sort of clue-less shit is annoying the heart and soul out of me.

ha. oh god.. erm right it was supposed to be made like a trailer or intro for a cartoon show.. n the idea was the main 'hero' was just an angsty hipster/dickhead who's to involved in his own petty problems and ignores the bigger picture. if i was in charge from the beginning it may have made more sense. we tried to introduce all the characters montage style. but like its hard working with 5 pople on one idea. one person really should have just made everyone else work on their own project.. but my girlfriend and closest mate were on our team so i couldnt afford to take over ha.

Can't say I'm all too surprised tbh. I would imagine the big money they used to make would have been made off the really high-profile releases, Halo, CoD etc, even smaller releases like Fable 3. But this last year in particular, places like Tesco and HMV have undercut them at almost every turn, knowing that even if they sell it at a loss, you might pick up some food in Tesco, or a CD in HMV to offset the difference. I've often done this, but I have very, very rarely walked into GameStop to pick up a game and picked up another game while I was there. Also something HMV are doing a lot recently is giving away DVDs or Blu-Rays away with new release games, incentive for the customer to buy there, but they are probably just clearing stock. I would imagine the only time GS may beat the rest would be with some of the more niche releases, but obviously they don't sell near as much as the games Tesco will chose to stock. I'd say out of the games I've bought in the last year, I've probably bought one from GS. Console sales are probably down as well seeing as we're a good bit through this gen. Would be interesting to hear how Game are doing over here in comparison. And I suppose the country being a bit banjaxed doesn't help...

My guess is - your house was broken into and your xbox was among several electronic items that were stolen, including laptops, ipods etc.
But the garda either caught the culprits or found your stuff while raiding a drug den elsewhere in the city.
The first part is becoming a common occurance and the second part is very scarce indeed.
